SILVER AND STONE YOUTH SILVERSMITHING WORKSHOP – Open to the Public!

In this entry level workshop with our Silversmithing Teacher, Summer Joy, students will be learning how to set stones in silver! Learn the basics of silversmithing – the materials, how to properly use a torch, safety, chemicals and neutralizers, soldering and more! Put it all together and take home a ring or pendant you make yourself! Includes standard 14x10mm oval stone.

This class will suite beginning silversmithing students, ages 13 and up.

Summer Joy has been working in silver for many years. Locally, she is known for her beautiful handmade silver pieces that she sells and her custom work.

TIME:
TUESDAY, JUNE 14TH, 11:00 – 4:00 PM (12 MAX)

PLEASE PROVIDE A SACK LUNCH, TIE HAIR BACK, WEAR JEANS, LONG SLEEVE COTTON FLANNEL, AND CLOSED TOE SHOES

CLASS FEE: $125 MEMBER/$135 NONMEMBER (a portion is tax-deductible)

By checking the above box, I understand that my registration is non-refundable. Memberships and subscriptions must be canceled 30 days in advance through info@comemakeit.com. This agreement releases Come and Make It!, Girl with Grit Program, and its affiliated parties from all liability related to injuries that may occur at any location at any class, camp, workshop, or event, regardless of whether injuries or contraction of illness are caused by negligence. I swear that I am participating voluntarily, and that all risk has been made clear to me. I forfeit all right to bring a suit against Come and Make It!, Girl with Grit Program, and its affiliated parties for any reason, in return, myself or my child will receive participation in Come and Make It! Girl with Grit Program. I will ask for clarification when needed. All students must adhere to a basic code of conduct and posted Makerspace rules.
